After a long drive we ended up in Tutukaka. Yes. It is a stunning name, isn’t it. We’re staying in a lovely apartment with view of the sea. The view has been hidden by rain, rain, rain and darkness. And rain. It was a -very- rainy day. Bas, my mom and I went out for dinner at this cute place, where there actually were people. We thought we were in the middle of nowhere, but apparantly, there is still life here. We are near Whangarei, the only city of Northland. My mom and granddad gave me this lovely 50 mm lens for my birthday, which made me really really happy. See the pictures below!
