Day 62 | Waimangu

Almost the whole lab went to Waimangu today to go on a mushroom hunt! An awesome researcher from NASA is over at GNS this week. We went around Waimangu trying to find as many mushrooms as possible, because these specific mushrooms have special characteristics. They grow in geothermal areas and were found in Yellowstone National Park.

It was an amazing day in the field, living the dream.
