Today was a good day! It was sunny and the day went by super quick on the lab. And it was great not spending all my energy cycling and being able to catch a ride with a collegue. Meanwhile I’m slowly looking for a secondhand car.

I’m learning so many things and how everything is different in practice from theory. And things we have never done in the lab at home! Like how to make media for anaerobic bacteria. And how much gas is involved in that. In the next week we’ll learn how not to stab yourself with a needle; apparantly that is needed… My first work accident.

Tomorrow there’s a work party and I’m looking forward to the conference next week!
